PIXEL TO SCULPTURE

Privacy notice

Updated October 10, 2026

This notice explains how Pixel to Sculpture handles information in its early-access sculpture studio.

Who we are and how to contact us

Pixel to Sculpture is operated by Wilson Chen. For privacy questions or requests about your account, contact support@pixeltosculpture.com.

Information used by the preview

When you sign in, Microsoft Entra External ID manages authentication. Your selected sign-in provider can share your account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name. We use this information to identify your account and give you access to your own projects. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail messages, contacts or Drive files.

When you save a draft, we store its name, selected material, height, creation time and an account-linked identifier in Microsoft Azure. Do not include sensitive personal information in project names.

Your reference images

When you choose Upload & generate in the signed-in studio, your reference image is uploaded to private Microsoft Azure storage. A processing computer operated by Wilson Chen downloads the image, runs the Pixal3D model, and uploads the generated GLB to your private project. Processing copies and logs are retained on that computer for operation and troubleshooting until removed. Image previews before submission stay in your browser. Generated STL files are also stored privately with the project.

Generated models and requested export files are stored privately in Microsoft Azure. Earlier imported GLBs remain stored with their projects; new customer model imports are closed. Imported studio libraries also keep their reference photos and GLB/STL models there. Only the accounts you authorize can access those project records. The studio uses temporary download links to display and download your files; anyone you share an unexpired link with can use it.

Why information is used and who processes it

Account and draft information is used to provide sign-in, display your projects, respond to support requests and maintain the service. Microsoft Azure hosts the website and project storage, and Microsoft Entra External ID processes authentication. Google processes Google sign-in when you choose that option. These providers also process technical information such as IP addresses and authentication or service logs under their own terms and privacy notices. Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.

We do not sell account information or use Google account data for advertising. We use self-hosted Umami analytics on Microsoft Azure to count page visits and selected button clicks. Analytics include browser and device information and approximate location derived from the connection IP address. Our tracker excludes project names, notes, account IDs, email addresses, image content, filenames, URL query strings and signed asset links. We do not enable session replay or advertising tracking. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser preferences. Analytics records remain stored until removed. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to address abuse or protect the service.

Pixi asset assistant

When you use Pixi, your questions and selected project details are processed by our private, self-hosted language model. Project names, notes, processing status and geometry checks help Pixi suggest relevant actions. Private download links, account credentials and image/model files are not included in its chat context. A bounded conversation history is stored privately under your account so you can return to it. Pixi proposes actions; you review and choose them before files are changed, jobs are queued or share links are created. Starting a new chat does not delete the previous conversation. You can request deletion of your saved conversations using the contact above.

Print requests

If you request a physical print quote, we store your contact email, delivery country, requested size and quantity, notes, and the related model reference privately with your account. We use them to assess the print and delivery options and prepare a quote. Payment-provider details will be presented before payment is enabled. Card details are not collected in the studio.

Browser storage

The website uses browser session storage for sign-in information. Microsoft and Google may use cookies or other storage on their sign-in pages. Signing out ends the website sign-in session; it does not delete your saved account or drafts.

Retention and your choices

Your account, projects, uploaded images, generated models and processing copies remain stored until removed. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing the contact above. We will verify that the request relates to your account before acting. Deletion requests may require manual processing; service-provider backups, security records or records required by law may remain under the applicable retention rules. You can also manage or revoke Google app access in your Google Account settings.

Updates

We will update this notice when the service or its data practices change. New image-processing features will be described before they are made available.
